After identifying a significant gap in Allied health services available for clients in the Moree community, Bamara’s Kyles Stirling and Matt Belperio, Managing Director at Lift Health Group, hatched a plan.

As Kyles transitioned into the Team Leader role, Melissa Bull, Bamara Support Coordinator, continued to work tirelessly and fiercely drive the plan of one day offering our Moree clients access to Allied Health professionals without the 6–9-month waitlist scenario or a lengthy travel to Tamworth.

On Tuesday morning, 25 November, the Lift Health group team chartered a small plane from Sydney to Moree to make the plan a reality.

This marked the first time Occupational Therapy & Speech Pathology services from Lift Health Group was delivered to our clients in Moree, and the team at Lift Health group will continue to charter to Moree on an ongoing fortnightly basis.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting individuals, families and our community with greater access and convenience. By working together, we aim to provide a streamlined, person-centred Allied Health supports that make a real difference in people’s daily lives.

Services introduced through this collaboration will strengthen local capacity and ensure Moree community members can access the right support closer to home.
