Brother-sister duo recognised for brightening lives in Moree

The Bamara team is very proud and excited to have been awarded the Organisation of the Year at the 2024 Moree Reconciliation Awards dinner held at the Moree Services Club, during National Reconciliation Week 2024.

Picking up the trophy were Jimmy Bryans and his big sister, Kerry Macey, who was born and bred in Moree and have been instrumental since joining our team back in 2021.

They have worked tirelessly to mentor and support people in our Moree community. They have done this through our services for the ParentsNext program, as well as helping people to pass their driving tests and gain confidence on the road through the Driver Licensing Access Program (DLAP).

“Seeing the smiles on people’s faces is what it’s all about. It’s about perseverance and working with Jimmy. We bounce off each other and make a great team,” said Kerry.
