What is your role?
Part time Case Manager – Hunter

What do you love most about your role and working for Bamara?
I love working with such a great team in the Hunter. I’m treated with respect and given daily encouragement. I also love meeting new people and I can relate to a lot of our participants, seeing as I also used to be a participant with Bamara.

Tell us a little about your family?
I am a single mum to a six-year-old boy. I was born in New Zealand, North Island and have moved to Australia when I was 2.5 years old. I have a pretty close immediate family. I’m the youngest of three children. I’m also an auntie with two nephews and a niece.

What is your favourite activity you like to do with your family or friends?
Sitting around a fire pit, reminiscing of all the good times spent together.

What three words would other people use to describe you?
1) Leopard (because I love wearing leopard clothes/accessories all the time)
2) Kindhearted
3) Reliable

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Cook Islands, I have never been there and it’s a dream of mine to go relax on the beach with endless cocktails.

Favourite quote
If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.

If you could have dinner with anyone you would like (past or present) who would it be and why?
My grandmother (mum’s side). She passed away when I was a year old, and from all the stories I’ve heard about her, she was a loving caring soul.

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us?
I actually have curly hair, frizz as my family would call it.

What is the one thing you can’t resist?
Spending. I love to shop!
