Jade has always had a caring nature, and it’s no surprise she found her calling in the disability support sector.
As one of our NDIS Team Leaders at our Dubbo Hub, Jade leads by example, working to create genuine connections and support both her staff and participants to flourish.
Originally a Wellington local – in both New Zealand and in New South Wales – her passion for supporting people living with disability ties back to her family, particularly her younger brother, who lives with autism.
Growing up together in Wellington NSW, Jade naturally became one of her brother’s biggest supporters and closest friends. The pair share an unbreakable bond, along with a love of the movie Toy Story.
“My brother is the most beautiful person in the world; he’s my best friend. He’s one of my most favourite people, and I will always be his protector,” Jade said.
It’s clear to anyone who has seen Jade in action that her approach to supporting participants at the Hub is genuine, fuelled by unwavering compassion and empathy.
While each day at the Dubbo Hub is action-packed and full of activity, Jade remains attentive, making sure to take pause with the participants who need it, and ensuring their needs are listened to and met.
Whether it’s helping someone get their dream job, or seeing participants make friends at the hub – every win, big or small, is celebrated with the same enthusiasm.
That same passion for seeing others succeed extends to her role as a Team Leader, where overseeing her team and working alongside them to deliver the best possible service is a source of great pride.
In the ever-developing landscape of disability support, where no two journeys are the same, Jade is always open to learning and growing, being a ‘sponge’ to her environment and soaking in new experiences and insights.
“I want people to know that bamara is not just an NDIS provider – we’re a family. We are genuine with our care for each other and participants, and we want to see the best outcomes for our participants and our staff,” Jade said.
Above all, Jade leads with heart, measuring her impact by the smiles in the room and the lives she’s touched along the way.
