Today, on International Women’s Day, we acknowledge and celebrate women of every culture and background, including our mothers, daughters, aunts, sisters, nieces, friends, neighbours, and customers.

The contribution of women in every sphere of life is massive.

To spark the conversation around this year’s theme, ‘Inspire Inclusion’ the team at Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure invited our CEO, Lesley Zarb, to be a guest speaker at their International Women’s Day celebration, which was hosted by Mark Bruzzone, the CEO of Abergeldie.

It was an opportunity for us to reflect on and discuss the strides that women are making in the construction industry and gain insights into our programs, such as Sistas in Trade, which helps break down barriers for women to kickstart careers as tradies.

It was wonderful to connect with Kiley, who thrived throughout the program and shared her resilience story. She works on-site at the New Dubbo Bridge Project, which Abergeldie delivers on behalf of the NSW Government.

Thanks again to Abergeldie and Mr. Bruzzone for this warm welcome. It was an inspiring opportunity, and we stand in strength today.

Let’s continue to inspire inclusion in everything we do.
